Olá! How was your weekend? I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was raining super hard in Porto. Cold? Not really. but the wind? OMG!
Sometimes I spend my weekend to do a postcard-hunting. Postcard price in every store is different. It depends on the store’s location. In Porto, mostly cost around 50 euros, which is a common price for some postcards in most of those European cities I have visited (PS. I know some stores in town that sell cheaper postcards with super nice design, haha!). My most expensive postcard was the one I bought in Vienna, Austria. I bought that in a christmas market and it costed me 2 euros. I sent that to my family in Indonesia and that stamp was also the most expensive stamp I have ever paid in Europe: 1.3 euros! But it was worth it. It was one of my favourite postcards so far.
The other favourite was those postcards I bought in Budapest, Hungary. As long as I remember, I bought 5 for 1 euro. and the photograph was amazing! They were cheap and beautiful. Unfortunately, I sent one to my family but not from Budapest because I was there during the weekend and post offices were closed. Instead of having a Hungarian stamp, it had the Netherlands stamp. haha.
I didn’t like those postcards I bought in Amsterdam, the NL. The pictures were not beautiful and in a bad quality. Maybe I didn’t find the right store that sells good quality postcards. They were expensive as well!
Last week, I visited my favourite postcard shop in Porto and I found these oh-so-Portuguese postcards. These postcards were unique and different from other postcards I have ever bought in Porto. They have that classic Portuguese picture with the frame of my favourite Portuguese tiles. and I got this feeling to send them to YOU!
To make it fair for each other, the first four people who comment on this post will get these postcards. Share your postcard-hunting story and tell me your email address so i can contact you to exchange address 😉
Happy postcard hunting, fellas! :****
PS. Oh-so-portuguese postcards have taken already but I am open for discussing any matter related with postcard. I still have plenty of porto postcards and I am open for exchanging. Say it here if you are interested 😉
